We conduct initial visual inspection for any signs of physical damage, such as cracks, leaks, or corrosion, voltage checks to ensure the battery's voltage is within the acceptable range, we also conduct load tests which simulate the battery's performance under starting conditions to assess its ability to handle the electrical demands of starting the engine, we also test and inspect battery terminals, cables, and connections for signs of corrosion, damage, or loose connections. We also clean and maintain the battery. If corrosion is found, the battery terminals and connections will be cleaned to remove any buildup and we'll protect the battery terminals by applying the appropriate coating of grease or other protective material to the terminals and connections to help prevent future corrosion.
